If it were not for his absolute value to the community the priests would have run the so called Druid from town, or worse. He has been taking particular interest into the dealings of Edward De Fitzroy and his trophy hunt that have depleting the game supply.

Arnold is the youngest of nine sons and was unlikely to inherit anything, so he learned to live by his wits, charm, and sheer presence. He could talk his way out of trouble and into warm beds, but a encounter with an angry husband left him with a permanent limp and a more cautious and Godly approach to life. While still not fully recovered, he tells stories for his supper and sleeps alone.

Known throughout Greenwood for his enormous size and correspondingly gentle heart, Bernard is loved by almost all. He can lift a full-grown sheep under each arm but will weep at the beauty of the setting sun. An incredible listener, villagers seek him out to confide in him, as he carries their troubles easily and responds with kindness.

Brunhilde came south with raiders as a young bride but was abandoned when her husband was killed in battle. She learned the local language and customs, gradually earning acceptance through her skills in weaving and dyeing. Her foreign origins still mark her as different, however, her many years in Greenwood have made her indispensable.

Marcus lost his entire family to plague three winters ago and threw himself into caring for other people’s children to fill the void. He taught them games his own children had loved and told them stories his wife had told. The village trusts him completely with their precious ones, seeing how gently he handled his grief. Although still in morning, marcus tends to isolate himself near the outskirts of the village.

Cecile’s face was destroyed by fire in childhood, making his visage frightening to look upon but revealing a soul of surprising gentleness. The villagers initially fled from him but gradually learned that his ruined features hid a kind heart and patient nature. He works at night when possible, sparing others discomfort, but his skills are too valuable to waste on avoiding daylight entirely.

Katharina is the adopted daughter of the Greenwood scriptorium keeper, her early years spent surrounded by scrolls, manuscripts and some of the most brilliant minds in the south. She has integrated herself in the village as the unofficial bridge between the people and the tax collector, earning the respect and admiration of the people and the ire of a certain Edward De Fitzroy.

Maud, despite her humble origins has worked with some of the finest pastry chefs in the south where she has perfected her art. Being away from home had always worn of her, with the recent upheavals in the world she saw her chance to return to Greenwood with hopes of starting her on bakery.

Gertrude was orphaned at a young age and lived in the wilds of Greenwood for most of her youth. A traveling monk found the wildling living in the forest and saw it as a sign from god. Through years of dedication he re-introduced her to society and to god; her feral tendencies have not fully subsided but she is a productive member of the village.
